Signature Experience
The Leadership Reaction Course.
A structured, high-touch experiential format where teams face practical challenges that make trust, communication, influence, and adaptability visible in real time.
What It Is
Pressure makes leadership patterns visible.
Teams work through a series of leader-rotation challenges. Each member leads at least one challenge while the others follow. The goal is not to win — it is to see how the team communicates, decides, delegates, follows, and learns. The LRC creates the conditions for honest self-awareness and shared accountability that most leadership programs never reach.
What the LRC Reveals
Six things the course makes impossible to ignore.
Communication under pressure
How the team talks, listens, and signals when the stakes are high and time is short.
Trust and followership
Whether team members genuinely follow the appointed leader or quietly work around them.
Decision-making speed
How quickly the team moves from ambiguity to action — and what slows them down.
Problem-solving dynamics
Who drives the solution, whose ideas get heard, and how the team handles disagreement.
Leadership adaptability
How each person shifts between leading and following as roles rotate through the course.
After-action discipline
Whether the team can name what happened clearly, honestly, and without defensiveness.
The After-Action Review
The learning happens in the debrief, not just the challenge.
The after-action review is where teams name what they saw, surface the patterns that emerged, and make specific commitments about what changes next. Facilitated by 3Summits, the AAR turns shared experience into practical behavior commitments that leaders carry back into the real work — not just good intentions, but named actions and new agreements.
The debrief
What did we see? What does it mean? What do we commit to change?
Who It's For
Built for teams that want honest growth, not polished performance.
Executive teams
Senior leaders who need to see how they actually operate together under pressure. The LRC surfaces patterns that meetings and offsites rarely reveal.
Leadership academies
Programs developing emerging leaders who need real repetitions — not simulations — in leading, following, and reflecting.
Athletic teams and captains
Teams and team leaders who want to stress-test their communication, trust, and shared accountability before the season demands it.
Peer forums and senior groups
YPO, EO, and executive peer groups looking for a shared experience that creates depth, honest reflection, and lasting connection.
How It Works
Four stages. One cohesive arc.
The LRC is not a standalone event. It is a complete learning experience designed to move teams from activity to awareness to committed behavior change.
01
Design the challenge
Custom to your team size, mission, and outcomes. Every LRC is shaped around the people in the room and the leadership behaviors that matter most.
02
Run the course
2–4 hours of rotating leader challenges. Each member leads at least one challenge while the rest of the team follows, observes, and participates.
03
After-action review
Facilitated debrief: what you saw, what it means, what changes. The AAR is where the experience becomes learning and learning becomes commitment.
04
Embed the behavior
Commitments, tools, and rhythms that carry the learning back into the work. The goal is not a memorable day — it is a changed team.
